The Great African American Author Read-In !

The Great African American Author Read-In is a literacy initiative founded by Children's Island . . Where Learning is a Breeze ! Since February 1, 2021 Children's Island has dedicated the entire month of February to the affluence of Black and/or African American Children's Authors internationally.

This distinguished authors community, presents daily on Facebook Live @ 6pm/EST. The Author/s are highlighted and read their book/s live to children and their families, educators, and lovers of literature.

This year on February 1, 2025 We Completed Season 5 of the Great African American Author Read-In featuring entitled , For The Love Of Reading ! Featuring only 5 of The Best Authors in Children's Literature as we Celebrate Black History and The Power of Literacy In Action !
